Effective monitoring is not just about detecting outages, it is about knowing exactly when an outage is resolved and systems are back online and operating normally. Building on our ongoing enhancements to system visibility, including updates outlined in our CMDC statuses overview, we are introducing location online notifications and AC power recovery alerts to MarketSpark’s Command Center.

These enhancements ensure customers receive confirmation when a monitored location is fully operational again.

New: Location Online Notifications and Power Status Alerts

This update introduces return-to-normal alerts that notify users when issues at a location have been resolved.

Location Online Notifications

Users can now receive online notifications when a location transitions from offline to online.

This indicates:

  • Connectivity has been restored
  • Devices and lines at the location are reporting normally

AC Power Recovery Alerts

Users can also enable power recovery alerts when a site transitions from battery backup (DC) back to standard AC power.

This confirms:

  • The system is receiving normal AC mains power
  • Devices are no longer running on backup power

Complete Lifecycle Monitoring for Locations

Previously, MarketSpark Command Center notified users when a location went offline and/or a power source switched from AC to battery backup (DC). With this enhancement, users are now notified when a location comes back online and/or power is restored to AC.

This creates a complete incident lifecycle view, from disruption through resolution.

These capabilities have already been available to API-integrated customers, and are now accessible directly within the Command Center interface.

Benefits of Device Online and Power Recovery Notifications

These additional notifications are designed to improve operational awareness and reduce manual monitoring.

  • Reduce Uncertainty in Site Monitoring: Teams no longer need to manually check whether a site is back online.
  • Improve Confidence in Uptime Recovery: Automated alerts confirm that systems are stable and operational.
  • Eliminate Unnecessary Follow-Up: Support teams and customers can avoid redundant status checks and escalations.
  • Strengthen Remote Monitoring Efficiency: Ideal for organizations managing distributed infrastructure and remote locations.

Improved Uptime Monitoring and Alerting

With these enhancements, MarketSpark Command Center provides a more complete approach to uptime monitoring alerts. This ensures customers always know the true status of their locations without manual verification.
